I heard Margaret Cho's Notorious C.H.O. awhile ago. It resonated. At the end, she takes a stand for people of size, people of color, people of intelligence. Yes!

Everyone has the capacity to be a person of size. It's not just a politically correct euphemism for "fat" - hell, if you're fat or thin, just call yourself that! - it's about the space you occupy. It's about not being afraid to take up that space.

Members of this webring are people of size, any size. People of intelligence. People of substance. They're people who stand up, take up space, and fight. For whatever they care about, but certainly for acceptance of people at any size. They may be men, women, or something else entirely.

Members of this webring aren't dieting to shrink themselves, aren't fasting or starving themselves for any purpose other than non-violent protest.
