What does it take to be a person of size?

You do not need to be of any particular size. You do, however, need to be size-positive. Any site that includes references to dieting to shrink or makes offensive references to people of any size will not be admitted.

You may, obviously, be of any gender. Society tends to think of size as a beauty issue, a girl thing - but we all know it's not that simple.

Preference will be given to sites whose owners' size-positive attitude and activism are clearly expressed through the site (be it blog, links, etc.). If your site doesn't make your personal substance and intelligence obvious to me, you're welcome to try to make a case for yourself when you submit your site.

Personal sites are obviously the focus of this ring (including blogs, journals, etc.). Commercial sites will also be welcomed as appropriate. Sites containing an excess of pop-up ads and such may be excluded at my discretion (no offense to people hosted on free servers, but there are a number of places that will host personal sites and don't assault the visitor with ads - for example, Geocities and Blogspot aren't bad (one ad per page), but Tripod or Angelfire would be).

On a side note: please make sure the URL you submit to the ring when you join is the one where I will find your ring code. I will delete sites from the queue if I can't locate the code.
